Therapy or Theology?

Growing up in a Baptist household, I was raised to believe that God was the only therapist I ever need and while I do believe that God can do all things he's our creator. He's our father. He's the reason we have to be happy. He's the reason we even have therapist to begin with. I do believe that a therapist is also something that of all the people might need. I will say that therapy is not for everybody because it is a little scary but once you take the leap and go to therapy of your life, how helpful it is my father always says the only angel numbers that he believes in is 111 which means the father, the son and the Holy Spirit and while that is true and I agree with him completely God would've never let therapy become a thing if he didn't think that it would be helpful to his people we are children of God and parents jobs to do what's right by their child so he would've never let therapy happen if he didn't agree with it even some of the most saved people go to therapy. My own pastor goes to therapy to me, saying that you can't be Christian but also need therapy is the same as saying a scientist can't believe in God and the first lady of my church is a nurse her whole job revolves around science, but she still knows who's in charge and that's the same way with therapy, you can go to therapy all you want, but you have to be willing to work for it. Therapy doesn't magically heal you. It gives you tools and resources in order to become the best version of yourself which is what some people need to understand is that just because you go to therapy a couple times doesn't mean you're magically gonna be a new person you have to put in the work and the effort to become the person that you're trying to be.
